Book on Polish music out in UK

In an interview with Radio Poland, British musicologist Daniel Elphick introduces his book ‘Music behind the Iron Curtain: Weinberg and his Polish contemporaries’.

He talks about his fascination with the legacy of Mieczysław Weinberg, a Polish Jew who fled Poland shortly after the outbreak of World War II and settled in Moscow, where he lived until his death in 1999.
