The Polish head of state also spoke of a migrant crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border and about his country's desire to work toward ensuring compliance with international law and stand up for those most vulnerable, such as civilians in armed conflicts and religious minorities.

He also declared that Poland would continue to assist other nations in their fight against the coronavirus.

How loud is Poland's voice in the UN? Danuta Isler put the question to Krzysztof Szczerski, the newly appointed Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the United Nations, with whom she had the chance to talk at the Pulaski Day Parade in New York on Sunday.
