Warsaw museum reopens summer zone: interview

With temperatures soaring, the Warsaw Rising Museum in the centre of the Polish capital has reopened its special summer zone after a gap of two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Until the end of the summer, the wooden platform with a café and chillout area, arranged in the midst of a green belt just outside the perimeter of the museum, is hosting a variety of events, including concerts, workshops and meetings.

But, as the museum's Dariusz Gawin told Elżbieta Krajewska, there is a deeper philosophy behind the initiative, connected to human resilience in the face of adversity, be it pandemic or war...

All events at the museum's Summer Room are free, butbecause of limited space, there is a need to register first.
