The Distinguished Indologist Award was established by Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in 2015 to recognize scientists who have made outstanding contribution to Indian cause, by studying / teaching / doing research in India’s philosophy, thought, history, art, culture, languages, literature, civilization and society.
