The Polish-British-US co-production won the accolades in three categories: for outstanding British film, for best film not in the English language, and for best sound.
The film was also nominated in six other categories, for best director, cinematography, adapted screenplay, supporting actress, editing, and production design.
Zone of Interest centres on the domestic life of Auschwitz commandant Rudolf Höss and his family living in the shadow of the Nazi German concentration camp of Auschwitz.
Location shooting for the film took place in Poland.
Poland’s Ewa Puszczyńska was the film’s co-producer and the cinematography was in the hands of countryman Łukasz Żal.
The film goes on general release in Poland on March 8.
