Warsaw's Chopin Airport celebrates its 90th anniversary

A ceremonial gala in Warsaw marked the 90th birthday of the city's Chopin Airport, which opened in 1934.

Throughout this long period of activity, Chopin Airport (known as Warszawa-Okęcie till 2001) has remained the country's largest airport - and in 2024 it served a record number of passengers.
