Earlier this month the City of Helsinki's Education and Training Department banned teachers from using AI applications, such as the Chat GPT or the Copilot in which it would be possible to process student data by external sources. Nina Pettinen, a counsellor responsible for media literacy at the National Agency for Education of Finland discusses societal resilience in Finland and the challenges Finnish students face using AI.
