Poland seeks new security partners in Scandinavia

Experts and diplomats gathered in Warsaw to discuss how Poland and the Nordic countries could enhance military collaboration, deterrence, and resilience in the face of growing security threats.

The challenges these nations face were the main topic of a meeting focused on strengthening security ties during times of transatlantic uncertainty, which took place in Warsaw over the weekend.

Disappointed with Germany and, more recently, with the Trump administration, Poland is reorienting its security policy.

Warsaw now aims to work more closely with the Nordic and Baltic countries to support Ukraine and counter Russia.
