Deputy Defence Minister Wojciech Skurkiewicz told public broadcaster Polish Radio that the first components of the revamped system “will be available in Poland in September this year, so we have highly accelerated the implementation of the Narew programme.”
The move comes as the Polish government is stepping up efforts to bolster the military amid Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
