In 1972, when Phan Thi Kim Phuc was 9 years old, she was photographed by Pulitzer prize-winning photographer Nick Ut, as she fled, naked, from a napalm attack.
She and the photograph became known across the world as "Napalm Girl".
Phan Thi Kim Phuc, today living in Canada, became a peace activist, this year visiting Pope Francis together with Nick Ut.
She assisted a group of 256 Ukrainian refugees in their migration from Warsaw to the Canadian city of Regina.
Kim expressed the hope that her story and work with refugees will send a message of peace.
