The British Sky Saber air defence system is being set up in Poland, joining American Patriot launching stations and British Challenger tanks to further strengthen Polish air defence.
According to the IAR agency, the Sky Saber systems are being prepared and tested. The Sky Saber systems have been placed in the east of Poland, near the Ukrainian border.
This follows the relocation of two Patriot launching systems to Poland, agreed with the government of USA following the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
Today the Polish Ministry of National Defence also confirmed that British Challenger tanks had reached Poland and would be supporting units under the command of the the 18th Mechanised Division. Britain has sent a total of 14 tanks together with additional armoured recovery vehicles
