Entitled “For Our Freedom and Yours,” the showcase will be available to the public at Plac Zebrań Ludowych, a central square in the city, until the end of next week, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
In the six months since Moscow’s brutal invasion began, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 1,924 Russian tanks, 4,243 armored personnel vehicles, and 1,036 artillery systems, among other equipment, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Some of this hardware has been brought to Poland as evidence that the Russian army is not invincible, officials have told reporters.
Previously, destroyed Russian military machinery was on show in the Polish capital Warsaw, the southwestern city of Wrocław, and Poznań in the country's west, the IAR news agency reported.

'Russian army can be defeated’
Michał Dworczyk, chief of staff to Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, said earlier this year: “This Russian equipment, destroyed by Ukrainian troops, is proof that with determination, courage and professionalism, the Russian army can be defeated.”
He added: “Today, the heroic Ukrainian soldiers are defending not just Ukraine, but Poland and the entire Europe.”
Dworczyk told reporters that Ukraine was able to effectively "resist the aggressor" also thanks to military assistance from Poland and other countries.
Ukrainian Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Malar in June thanked Poland for supplying her country with military equipment and for welcoming refugees who had been forced to flee their homes.
Wednesday is day 182 of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
