The figures were published by the Ukrainian outlet UkraineWorld on Friday, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
Citing the Defence Ministry in Kyiv, UkraineWorld tweeted that some 46,250 Russian servicemen have lost their lives since the Kremlin assaulted Ukraine in February.
On Thursday, the Russian president ordered an expansion of the military in a bid to replenish troop numbers after these heavy losses in manpower.
Meanwhile, Russia has also lost 1,936 tanks, 4,251 armoured personnel vehicles and 234 aircraft, among other damage.
Losses also include 202 helicopters, 834 unmanned aerial vehicles and 15 boats/cutters, UkraineWorld reported.
These latest statistics came as Russia’s aggression against Ukraine continued for the 184th day.
