The latest calculation of the Russian army’s combat losses was provided by Ukraine’s General Staff, Polish state news agency PAP reported.

Russia has now lost 2,009 tanks since invading Ukraine in February, with 12 machines being destroyed over the past 24 hours, reporters were told.

Nearly 49,000 Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine

At the same time, some 48,700 Russian troops have been killed in total, including some 350 in the last 24 hours, according to Ukraine’s General Staff. 

On day 191 of Russia’s full-scale invasion in Ukraine, its total losses amount to 48,700 military personnel, 2,009 tanks and 1,126 artillery systems.

Artillery systems, aircraft, helicopters

Russia’s current losses in matériel also include 1,126 artillery systems, 234 aircraft and 205 helicopters, officials said. 

Friday is day 191 of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
