Speaking in Brussels before a two-day meeting of NATO defence ministers, Stoltenberg reiterated that Russian President Vladimir Putin was "not preparing for peace" but instead "preparing for more war."
"We see no signs that President Putin is preparing for peace," Stoltenberg said. "What we see is the opposite, he is preparing for more war, for new offensives and new attacks."
"So it makes it even more important that NATO Allies and partners provide more support to Ukraine," he added.
Stoltenberg on Monday told reporters that Russia’s anticipated major new offensive in Ukraine had already begun.
Tuesday is day 356 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
