Lloyd Austin sent this message following his meeting with NATO defence ministers on Wednesday. He emphasized that NATO is taking care not only to provide military hardware but training and therefore skills as well.
This statement follows an earlier statement this week by US General Mark Milley that Russia has already lost "strategically, militarily and tactically" (as we reported.)
US intelligence was reliable in providing the pessimistic prediction that the Russian invasion was coming - as early as as December 2021, as reported, for example, in CNBC on February 25:
"Russia’s invasion so far has played out largely as the Biden administration said it would back in December, with nearly 200,000 troops striking from several sides of Ukraine."
