In his daily video address, Zelensky on Tuesday highlighted the ferocity of Russian attacks, particularly in the Donetsk region, as reported by the Ukrainska Pravda portal.
Zelensky accused Putin of having a cynical political goal, willing to sacrifice numerous lives for tactical gains.
The Ukrainian leader also said that Russia is suffering significant losses in both soldiers and equipment, especially in areas such as Avdiiivka, more so than near Bakhmut.
The Russian presidential election is slated for March.
