"At night, Russian terrorists once again attacked Ukraine using 13 Shahed 136/131 drones," a spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andriy Kovaliov, said on Wednesday morning.
"The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 10 drones," he added, as cited by state news agency Ukrinform.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on its Facebook page that, in addition to the attack drones, Russia also launched "five missile attacks and 74 air strikes against Ukraine in the past 24 hours."
It also reported that 67 combat clashes took place on the frontline between Ukrainian and Russian forces during the previous day.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, starting the largest armed conflict in Europe since World War II.
Wednesday is day 763 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
