Ukraine downs 13 of 14 Russian attack drones: military

Ukraine's air defence forces said they destroyed 13 of 14 attack drones launched by Russia against Ukraine overnight into Wednesday.

"Russia’s invasion forces launched 14 one-way attack UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type at Ukraine overnight Wednesday, May 29," the Ukrainian air force said, as cited by state news agency Ukrinform.

Ukraine downed 13 of those, it added.

"Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force, mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces, and electronic warfare units were involved in repelling the enemy air raid,” according to the Ukrainian air force.
