One killed, four injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine's Kharkiv region: officials

One person was killed and four others injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region on Wednesday, regional officials said.

Russian troops attacked the village of Borova, killing a man and wounding two other people, Ukrainian state news agency Ukrinforreported, citing the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

In the village of Ruska Lozova, two people were wounded and 10 homes damaged in a Russian strike using two S-400 missiles in the early hours of the day, according to a report by the Reuters news agency.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, starting the largest armed conflict in Europe since World War II.

Wednesday is day 861 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
