"I have decided to convene a meeting of the National Security Council on Monday at 9:00 AM, before our departure to Washington, where there will be an opportunity for a thorough exchange of thoughts and ideas related to what will be discussed at the NATO summit from a political perspective," the president announced after meeting with Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

Politicians, along with key military commanders, discussed, among other things, the role of the upcoming JATEC in Bydgoszcz, the NATO-Ukraine Centre for Analysis, Training, and Education, aimed at facilitating the exchange of experiences between NATO and Ukrainian military personnel.

Decisions regarding the placement of the Centre within NATO structures will be among the topics addressed at the upcoming summit. The president hopes it will receive appropriate certifications and commence full operations within two years.

"This is a crucial military component, alongside which there is also a political component. The latter will be primarily analyzed with our colleagues from the political sphere," President Duda announced.

"I have provided recommendations to the Minister of National Defense for the National Security Strategy, which have already been forwarded to Prime Minister Donald Tusk in accordance with the Act. I am hopeful that Poland will soon have an updated document that meets its security needs," the politician declared.
