The Izmail District State Administration said on the Telegram messaging service that Russia deliberately launched a large-scale attack using Shahed "kamikaze" drones, targeting the port infrastructure in Izmail.

The attack partially destroyed the windows, stairwell and front of the residential building, according to officials.

While there were no fatalities, three people were hospitalized due to injuries sustained in the attack, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

Efforts to address the damage caused by the shelling were underway.

In Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, a separate rocket attack by Russian forces resulted in one fatality, according to reports.
