While Russia's regional authorities reported that Ukraine controls 28 settlements and has advanced up to 12 kilometers along a 40-kilometer front, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi disclosed that Ukrainian forces had advanced an additional 3 kilometers and taken control of another 40 square kilometers, according to "The Kyiv Independent."

Zelensky emphasized that, despite the intense fighting, progress in Kursk Oblast continues, with ongoing efforts to stabilize the region and develop humanitarian plans, as reported by the Polish Radio news agency (IAR).

Ukrainian President also confirmed on social media that he frequently communicates with Syrskyi to receive updates on the situation. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry stated that the incursion aims to counter Russian reinforcements and prevent cross-border attacks rather than to seize territory.
