According to the Polish newspaper "Gazeta Wyborcza," journalists from "Süddeutsche Zeitung," ARD television, and "Die Zeit" claim that Ukrainians living in Poland are responsible for the Nord Stream pipeline explosions.

These details come from an investigation conducted by the public prosecutor's office in Karlsruhe, which is the only institution still examining the incident. Investigations into the case have already been closed by the prosecutors' offices in Denmark and Sweden, where the alleged perpetrators also operated.

Ukrainian diver escapes detention due to database error, Polish prosecutors say

Reuters notes that Anna Adamiak, spokeswoman for the Polish National Public Prosecutor's Office, stated that in June, German authorities forwarded the arrest warrant to the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw for the Ukrainian diver, related to ongoing legal proceedings in Germany.

The individual was able to leave because German authorities had not included his name in the wanted persons database, which left the Polish Border Guard without the necessary information to detain him. This oversight allowed him to cross the Polish-Ukrainian border freely, according to Reuters.

Nord Stream sabotage linked to Ukrainian diver. Investigations in Sweden and Denmark closed

The Nord Stream pipelines were sabotaged in September 2022, with German investigators linking the attack to a team including the Ukrainian diver, although investigations by Sweden and Denmark did not identify any suspects.

German authorities confirmed that the inquiry into the Nord Stream sabotage does not impact their support for Ukraine's defense against Russia's aggression, and the investigations in Sweden and Denmark were closed without suspect identification.
