Polish and allied military aircraft were deployed to ensure the security of Polish airspace, with operations concluding after the threat subsided.

In a morning statement on the X platform, DORSZ reported that Russian long-range aviation had once again launched missile strikes on Ukrainian territory.

"All necessary procedures have been initiated to ensure the security of Polish airspace," the command emphasized.

"The Operational Command is constantly monitoring the situation and stands ready to respond to any threats," DORSZ assured.

By early afternoon, the Polish command confirmed that military aircraft had returned to their bases after the cessation of Russian missile strikes in Ukraine, with forces resuming standard operations.

Meanwhile, in Ukraine, air raid alerts were issued across the country, with explosions reported in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Sumy. Ukrainian authorities began lifting the alerts later in the morning as the situation stabilized.

Overnight, Russian forces targeted energy infrastructure, particularly in western Ukraine. In Kryvyi Rih, missiles struck the Aurora hotel, killing two people and injuring five. Additional attacks in the Zaporizhzhia region claimed the lives of three more individuals.

Despite the onslaught, Ukrainian air defenses successfully intercepted five missiles and 60 Shahed drones, according to a statement by Ukrainian Air Force Commander General Mykola Oleshchuk.
