The meeting, held at the Val-de-Grâce military academy, is divided into two sessions, beginning with a focus on aiding Ukraine, with Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov participating remotely.

The ministers will then discuss enhancing European defense capabilities.

This is the latest in a series of important events in Paris concerning Ukraine, following recent talks among European leaders and military officials.

The French aim to convince European partners to send peacekeeping forces to Ukraine after the conflict ends, although this proposal has yet to gain support from other European nations, including Poland.

Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz assured through social media that the results of the joint discussions of European defense ministers will be announced on Wednesday evening.
