By the morning of March 24, 2025, at least 2,421 children had been killed or injured in Ukraine as a result of Russia's war of aggression, the Ukrainian Prosecutor-General’s Office said in a statement, as quoted by Polish state news agency PAP.

On Sunday, a Russian drone attack on Kyiv killed three people, including a five-year-old girl and her father, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

A day earlier, a Russian strike in Ukraine's southern Zaporizhzhia region claimed the lives of an entire family—a mother, father, and daughter, he added.

Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, starting the largest military conflict in Europe since World War II.

Monday is day 1,124 of Russia's war on Ukraine.
