Their discussion will focus on strengthening France’s military and financial support for Ukraine.

In recent weeks, Zelensky and Macron have been in close contact, with the Ukrainian leader saying they speak almost daily.

Macron has emphasized finalizing short-term military aid, securing long-term defense commitments, and coordinating European security guarantees.

However, divisions remain among participating nations, including Germany, Italy, the UK, Canada, and Poland, particularly over sending peacekeeping forces to Ukraine.

Donald Tusk, the head of the Polish government, will also travel to Paris on Wednesday to take part in a summit of European leaders the following day.
