As the organisers and curators, architecture students Diana Sokolan and Iryna Vashchuk, explain: “The event was organised by Ukrainian students at Łódź University of Technology and aims to bring Ukrainian reality closer through the personal perspectives of the participants.”
The selected works were chosen from more than 600 submissions in response to a call from the university’s Architecture Students’ Scientific Circle.
The images offer a personal view of Ukraine, capturing landscapes, architecture, daily life, and its people.

The university emphasises that the exhibition serves as both an artistic project and a significant contribution to public discourse.

The exhibition also marks the 30th anniversary of the Architecture Students’ Scientific Circle.
It will be open in the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning lobby until 16 January 2026, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., after which it will move to the Łódź Regional Chamber of Architects at 12 Północna Street.
The project was funded by the deans of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environmental Engineering at Łódź University of Technology and the Łódź Regional Chamber of Architects.
