"We want Korean tanks to be produced in Poland, and we want technology to be transferred," Mariusz Błaszczak said, as quoted by his defence ministry on Twitter.
During a visit to South Korea, Błaszczak was holding talks with officials in Seoul for Poland to buy "one of the most modern tanks in the world," the Polish defence ministry said.
On Monday, Błaszczak held talks with his South Korean counterpart Lee Jong-sup and local arms makers.
He told reporters afterward that Poland wanted to purchase more modern weapons from South Korea to boost its security after Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
On Wednesday, Błaszczak visited the demilitarized zone between the two Koreas, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
Błaszczak said on Tuesday that closer military cooperation with South Korea would help boost the development of Poland's arms industry.
