Mateusz Morawiecki’s words came as he addressed a conference on the future of Poland in the capital Warsaw, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency PAP reported.
The PM told the audience: ‘Ukraine can win and will win - because it is showing enormous determination and enormous courage.”
He added: “Usually it’s the more determined side that wins. It’s not just about technical might, technological advantage and money. Whoever has more courage often wins.”
“We, Polish people, understand that this is a historic moment,” Morawiecki also told the “Poland - Big Project” conference in Warsaw.
“We must wake Europe up from its geopolitical slumber,” he added.
“We must engineer sanctions so that Ukraine can win in the long-term, and we must secure weapons supplies for Ukraine,” the PM said.
Friday is day 107 of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
