Mateusz Morawiecki's words came as he addressed an annual conference of Polish ambassadors in Warsaw on Tuesday, the state PAP news agency reported.
Influencing Western public
He told Polish diplomats: “For Ukraine to survive, the Western public is our powerful ally.”
He added: “And this is your basic task to influence public opinion in all the countries of the free world in a concerted, wise, methodical and very consistent way.”
‘Moral victory is not enough’
Morawiecki also said that “Ukraine and its allies have a right to feel the moral victors.”
But "a moral victory is not enough today, especially when we are facing an opponent who doesn’t abide by any moral principles,” he added.
Referring to Russia, Morawiecki emphasised: “Poland’s stance is clear: there is no return to business as usual. There is no return to what was before February 24.”
He told the conference: “Russia must go back. The Russkiy Mir can no longer be used against any neighbouring state."
Later on Tuesday, the Polish ambassadors were due to be hosted by President Andrzej Duda.
Tuesday was day 118 of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
