Poland's Presidential couple took part on-line in the Second Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen organized by Ukraine's Olena Zelenska in Kyiv on Saturday.
As Ukrinform agency reporteded, quoting the Ukrainian First Lady, the summit collected 3.2 million dollars towards the purchase of medical vehicles for Ukraine.
Olena Zelenska again appealed to the world to continue helping Ukraine, as the country needed it very much. She said that the summit was being held on the 150th day of Russia's invasion: "These 150 days are Bucha and Mariupol. It is filtration camps, through which hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian women and men have gone. It is Ukrainian children removed by force to Russia. You have seen films from Ukrainian roads, of people who wanted to save themselves from occupation being shot at. You have seen films from our cities, with Russian tanks shelling homes. You know the price our nation is paying to liberate its land" she said.
The Second Summit was held under the motto of "Ukraine and the World: The Future We (Re)build Together".
Also participating on-line from Poland was Ukrainian tennis player Elena Svitolina, in Kraków at the charity tennis tournament organized by Iga Świątek.
