"Another kind of Russian terrorist attacks: targeting Ukraine's energy and critical infrastructure," Zelensky said in a Twitter post on Tuesday.
He added: "Since Oct. 10, 30% of Ukraine’s power stations have been destroyed, causing massive blackouts across the country."
Zelensky also wrote in his tweet that there was "no space left for negotiations" with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to Ukraine's Ukrinform news agency, Russian forces launched new missile strikes on Ukrainian cities on Tuesday, attacking energy infrastructure facilities across the country.
In the eastern Donetsk region, Russia fired two missiles at the Kurakhove Thermal Power Plant, according to the ukrinform.net website.
Ukrinform said Russian forces repeatedly shelled two thermal power plants owned by the DTEK Energo company. As a result of the attack, one person was killed and six were injured, preliminary data showed.
Meanwhile, three Russian missiles hit a power supply facility in the capital Kyiv, according to ukrinform.net.
Russian troops struck energy infrastructure in the central city of Dnipro, causing power and water outages in the city and region, the Ukrainian news agency reported.
The northern city of Zhytomyr was also left without electricity and water supply after Russian missile strikes.
A series of explosions rocked the cities of Kharkiv and Kryvyi Rih, where casualties were reported.
Kharkiv was struck with missiles launched from the Russian city of Belgorod, according to Ukrinform.
During the night, Russian troops launched missile strikes on the southern city of Mykolaiv, which was left without power supply. A man was killed in the attack, Ukrinform reported.
According to the British Ministry of Defence, Russian forces have stepped up attacks on civilian targets across Ukraine and appear to be intent on causing serious damage to the country’s energy distribution network.
