Poland's Andrzej Duda and Germany's Frank-Walter Steinmeier are expected to hold face-to-face talks in the German capital to discuss the latest developments in Ukraine, including a growing humanitarian crisis caused by Russia's war.
Other topics include European security and bilateral relations, according to Jakub Kumoch, a top aide to the Polish head of state.
The talks will also focus on a possible new wave of refugees from Ukraine, Kumoch told reporters.
Since early October, Russia has targeted Ukraine's critical energy infrastructure, including power plants, transmission and distribution facilities and water pumping stations, leaving millions of people without power, heat or water, the Reuters news agency has reported.
Poland has taken in over 8.32 million refugees fleeing Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the Polish Border Guard agency reported on Sunday.
