The talks, officially known as intergovernmental consultations, will be led by Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Romania’s Nicolae Ciucă, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
Major topics include support for Ukraine, regional security, and political and economic ties between Poland and Romania, according to Polish government spokesman Piotr Müller.
Another key focus is food security, he told reporters.
A Polish-Romanian business forum will be held during the visit to provide opportunities for closer bilateral cooperation, officials said.
While in Bucharest on Tuesday, the Polish prime minister is also expected to meet with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis.
