Speaking at the inaugural session of the Strategic Arc security conference, Duda emphasized the need for a steadfast commitment to support Ukraine financially and militarily, while advocating for closer integration of Ukraine into NATO and the EU.

The conference, organized by the Polish Institute of International Affairs, has brought together renowned academics, politicians, and military officials from various countries. The two-day event aims to address critical threats and challenges faced by the international community.

In his keynote address, Duda stressed the importance of establishing a lasting framework for financial and military aid to Ukraine from the West. He asserted that enhancing Ukraine's security is crucial, “because a sense of security in Ukraine will shape the will of millions of Ukrainians to return to their country and successfully rebuild it.”

The Polish president also called for the continuation of sanctions against Russia, underscoring Poland's unwavering support for robust U.S. leadership in Europe. He further emphasized the necessity of bolstering NATO's eastern flank and expanding the Alliance and the European Union. According to Duda, “this is the only way to ensure that Russia's imperial ambitions are not realized. Russia must lose this war and understand that a united free world stands against it and will also oppose it in the future.”
