Russian bomb hits blood transfusion centre in Ukraine's Kupiansk: Zelensky

A Russian guided aerial bomb hit a blood transfusion centre in the town of Kupiansk in Ukraine's eastern Kharkivregion late on Saturday, President Volodymyr Zelensky has said.

"There are dead and wounded," the Ukrainian president said on his Telegram channel, as cited by the Reuters news agency.

He denounced the attack as a war crime.

"This war crime alone says everything about Russian aggression," Zelensky said in a post on the X social media platform, formerly known as Twitter.
