The officials "reiterated their enduring commitment to supporting Ukraine in its defense against Russian aggression for as long as it takes, and to aiding it in its reconstruction," the White House said on Thursday.
The national security advisors "stressed that Russia’s sovereign assets in their nations’ jurisdictions will remain immobilized until Russia pays for the damage it has caused to Ukraine," it added.
Meeting participants also "examined further ways to hold Russia accountable for the destruction it has brought in its illegal war," according to the White House.
They said they remained committed to Ukraine's reconstruction after the war.
Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, launching the largest military campaign in Europe since World War II.
Friday is day 548 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
