Ukraine's military reports over 40 combat clashes

The Ukrainian military said in its daily update there had been over 40 combat clashes across the frontline over the past 24 hours.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian forces have launched five missile attacks and conducted forty-five aerial assaults, resulting in civilian casualties and extensive damage to residential homes, schools and other civilian infrastructure.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces have continued their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction.

"In the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force delivered two strikes targeting enemy command and control points, 10 strikes on manpower clusters, and two on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems. Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit two Russian anti-aircraft missile systems, a manpower cluster, and four artillery systems in firing positions," the update said.
