Due to another aggressive Russian activity, all necessary procedures to ensure the safety of Polish airspace have been initiated, announced the Operational Command of the Armed Forces. This marks another scrambling of Polish and allied aircraft within a few hours.

The Operational Command of the Armed Forces provided information about the situation and the participation of allied aircraft. The first operation ended before 6 a.m.

During the night, the Polish military scrambled aircraft in response to increased activity of Russian aviation over western Ukraine.

Russian long-range aviation conducted intensive operations related to missile strikes on targets in western Ukraine.

"Following the conclusion of long-range Russian missile strikes on targets in Ukraine, military aviation operations in Polish airspace have ended, and the deployed forces and resources have returned to standard operational activities. The Polish military continuously monitors the situation in Ukraine and remains ready to ensure the security of Polish airspace," the Operational Command announced via social media.

About 10 a.m. on x.com, it was reported that Russian long-range aviation had resumed missile strikes on Ukrainian territory.

"Due to another aggressive Russian activity, all necessary procedures have been initiated to ensure the safety of Polish airspace. Increased noise levels may occur in the southeastern area of the country due to operations of Polish and allied military aircraft in our airspace" - wrote the Operational Command.

As a result, "in the southeastern region of the country, there may be an increased level of noise due to the operations of Polish and allied military aviation in our airspace", warn military officials.

The last time Russian air activity was this intense, with strikes on western Ukraine, was during the night of June 21-22 of this year. The Polish military continuously monitors the situation and remains ready to protect Polish airspace.
