"I spoke with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk; I thanked him for the unwavering support of friendly Poland and the implementation of the new military assistance package," Zelensky wrote on the X social media platform.
"We discussed Ukraine’s progress on its European integration path and the priorities of Poland’s six-month EU Council Presidency, which begins in January," he added.
Zelensky also said that he and Tusk "agreed to exchange visits in the near future to better coordinate our joint actions."
The Polish government confirmed that the conversation took place but did not immediately provide any details, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
