The Royal Łazienki Park is celebrating the 20th anniversary of Poland joining the EU by inviting guests to explore exhibitions and participate in family workshops during the annual European Picnic. Outdoor tennis picnics and themed workshops are also planned, offering something for everyone to enjoy.

"Every year, on May 1, we hold a European Picnic, which this year will have a special character. We also have holidays on May 2 and 3. In turn, May 7 is the birthday of Prince Józef Poniatowski, and May 8 is the name day of King Stanisław August. So we celebrate practically every day," said Dr. Marianna Otmianowska, director of the Royal Łazienki Museum.

"2024 is not only the 20th anniversary of Poland's accession to the European Union, but also the anniversary of the Royal Łazienki Park," Otimiatowska added. "I would like to mention the newly opened exhibition. It is called "The Art of New Thinking - The Legacy of Stanisław Herakliusz Lubomirski". This is an opportunity to look into an unusual room, unavailable on an everyday basis in the Palace on the Isle," announced Dr. Marianna Otmianowska.

The celebration also includes historical and educational components, with the opening of the season on the boulevards and the May 3 Constitution Run, commemorating Poland's national holiday.

Admission to all events is free.
