Starting this year, the annual competition is a World Athletics Race Walking Tour Gold-level meeting, representing the highest-level circuit of international racewalking competitions.

The event is co-organized by the Polish Athletic Association (PZLA) and is named after four-time Olympic racewalking champion Robert Korzeniowski.

This year, the competition loop will be around the Grand Theater and Piłsudski Square in central Warsaw.

"All walking fans will be able to walk the same loop as the world's best racewalkers and compare their time," Robert Korzeniowski, a former racewalker who won four gold medals at the summer Olympics and three at world championships, told Radio Poland's Danuta Isler.

They spoke during a press conference at Warsaw's Grand Theater where details were announced.
