Rafał Trzaskowski, the mayor of Warsaw and candidate of the centrist Civic Coalition (Koalicja Obywatelska, KO) in Poland’s 2025 presidential election, has submitted 1,100,043 signatures to the National Electoral Commission.
This is more than ten times the minimum requirement of 100,000 signatures needed to qualify for the race.
Over 1.1 million voter endorsements collected
“This is a truly historic moment. We are submitting over a million signatures. It’s an incredible show of support and a strong sign for the future,” Trzaskowski said.
The politician thanked his supporters and emphasized that this level of backing represents a commitment not only for the coming months but for the years ahead.
Trzaskowski stressed the need for experienced and responsible leadership in uncertain times. “We need a government that is accountable. In these difficult times, Poland needs a responsible and experienced president,” he stated.
He also highlighted national security as a priority, saying that Poland requires a leader who is ready to cooperate with the government on key issues.
