Critical infrastructure in Poland operating smoothly amid global microsoft outage

Earlier, Minister of Digitalization Krzysztof Gawkowski reported that critical infrastructure systems in Poland are functioning normally despite the global Microsoft outage.

He added that these systems are not solely dependent on Microsoft technologies. The Deputy Prime Minister assured that there is currently no cause for concern.

"Critical infrastructure systems in Poland are operating smoothly. The global Microsoft outage is being monitored by Polish cybersecurity authorities. We will provide ongoing updates on the situation, but at present, there is no reason for alarm," stated Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitalization Krzysztof Gawkowski on X platform on Friday.

Polish critical infrastructure systems are not solely reliant on Microsoft technologies, and the reported issues across the country do not affect critical infrastructure.

"The global Microsoft outage has been monitored by Polish authorities since this morning," assured Gawkowski on Polsat News, emphasizing that "there is currently no cause for concern."

According to him, the situation in Poland is better than in the West.
