In an interview with public broadcaster Polish Radio on Tuesday morning, Szejna said that Kamala Harris and Donald Trump strongly differ in their approach to Ukraine's defensive war against Russia's illegal full-scale invasion.
"In fact, [...] whether and on what terms the peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia will begin [...] we will know the day after tomorrow, when it will become clear who the future president of the USA will be. That's because Donald Trump's foreign policy assumptions are fundamentally different from those of Kamala Harris"
- Andrzej Szejna said.
The result of the Harris-Trump clash is difficult to predict due to very tight poll results in the seven so-called 'swing states', which this year include Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina.
The US Presidential race victory requires garnering at least 270 electoral votes. The first results of the presidential elections from the eastern states shall start to flow in on Tuesday night, Polish time.
