Poland's Civic Coalition to hold presidential primary vote next week

On Friday, November 22, a primary election will be held to select the candidate for the presidency from the Civic Coalition (KO) in Poland. The results will be announced the following day, November 23.

The head of the election committee, Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Dorota Niedziela, confirmed that the voting will take place via SMS from 8:00 AM to midnight.

Each party within the Civic Coalition must submit a list of their members' phone numbers by November 20.

According to Dariusz Joński, a representative of the Inicjatywa Polska party, every voter will receive an SMS with voting instructions.

The committee also assigned numbers to the candidates: Rafał Trzaskowski will be number 1, and Radosław Sikorski will be number 2.

Members of the Civic Platform, Nowoczesna, Inicjatywa Polska, and the Greens will cast their votes by sending an SMS with one of these numbers.

The winner of the primary will present their presidential campaign program on December 7 in Silesia.
