"After undergoing quarantine, I took a coronavirus test. Unfortunately, the test came back positive," he said on Twitter on Sunday.
“I’m feeling good,” he added.
Błaszczak called on Poles to be careful and follow health guidelines amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
His tweet came after Polish President Andrzej Duda said a day earlier he had tested positive for COVID-19.
Poland on Sunday reported 11,742 new coronavirus infections and 87 additional deaths, bringing its total number of cases to 253,688 and fatalities to 4,438.
