Commissioners for Jobs and Social Rights, Nicolas Schmit, and for Cohesion and Reforms, Elisa Ferreira, on Wednesday congratulated Poland on its record cohesion policy funding level across the bloc totaling EUR 76.5 billion, but stressed the need to meet conditions for programmes to be implemented.
“It’s a large total that puts Poland at the top among beneficiaries. Yet, the country is also at the forefront of the implementation of the programmes across the European Union. Currently, Poland’s figure is more than 96% of implemented projects from the previous funding perspective,” said Development Funds and Regional Policy Minister Grzegorz Puda.
